Caribbean Poker Codes and Tips

Online poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several variations on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the croupier declares "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers are given five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you must either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s value is on same level to your beginning ante, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, including a sum equal to the original wager. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The casino pony’s up cash even with your ante and set odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
